EUROPEAN PUBLIC HEALTH ACTIVITIES IN PROMOTING, TRAINING AND INCREASING CAPACITY (EUPHAPTIC)

The EUPHAPTIC project of the Faculty of Public Health aims to promote Public Health science, its importance and motivating youngsters to study this bachelor's degree. The target audience of the project includes 1000 high school students, 10 000 students from the Medical University-Sofia and a group of citizens of Sofia. The following methods will be used: Lectures, Round tables, Sports events, student exhibitions, and media participation. The timeframe of the project is from 1 September 2019 till 1 May 2020. The team will collaborate with the Student Union of Medical University-Sofia and the Association of the Bulgarian Medical Students for organizing lectures, meetings Public Health students, Sports Campaign in Sofia, distribution of promoting materials. The plan evaluation process will include — planning, implementation of the campaigns, completion, and dissemination and reporting through the survey method (anonymous questionnaires among the students). The successfully performed activities are planned for the next year with the financial support of the Faculty of Public Health and the Students’ Union of the Medical University -Sofia.
