Instituto de Higiene e Medicina Tropical (IHMT) is hiring a junior doctoralresearcher within the project “ADDRESSING VACCINE HESITANCY IN EUROPE (VAX-TRUST)”
The opening of the position aims to contribute to the design and implementation of the evaluation planof the interventions developed within the scope of the project, which intend to reduce the hesitation tovaccination in selected European countries and, thus, to consolidate vaccination coverage through thestrengthening of interactions between citizens and Health professionals;
The researcher to hire is expected to: 1) contribute to improving the design and implementation ofinterventions; 2) monitor the implementers of the interventions in the selected European countries withthe aim of making the necessary adjustments to the procedures and processes of interventions toincrease the effectiveness of the project; 3) describe, monitor and correct unpredictable effects ofinterventions that compromise the reduction of hesitancy to vaccination in selected European countries;4) contribute to the dialogue and reflection between the consortium partners to strengthen academicknowledge around hesitation to vaccination and the improvement of decision-making in this area.
