CALL FOR ABSTRACTS for the ASPHER Young Researchers Forum
Extended Submission Deadline: April 8, 2022 (23:59 CET/Brussels time)
Students, post docs, junior faculty and recent graduates from all ASPHER Member programmes are invited to submit an abstract which should be of performed original research. All authors selected to present at the Forum will be invited to join the 15th International Scientific Conference: Digitalisation and Education in Health Sciences on 9 June 2022. The conference will be a hybrid event hosted by the Angela Boskin Faculty of Health Care and held in Bled, Slovenia. Accepted participants may choose to present in person or via Zoom.
The goal of the YRF is to provide an opportunity for young researchers to present their work and engage with other young researchers. Through the ASPHER network, participants can expand their individual networks and receive (and provide) feedback from international peers. YRF sessions are ideal events to stimulate conversation, research partnerships, and further academic experiences; participants are encouraged to engage with one another.
The conference is dedicated to presenting the current research and development work in the field of digitalisation of health sciences and the implementation of new educational methods in public health, nursing care, physiotherapy, and other health sciences. The aim is to integrate the practice of health sciences through digitalisation and introduce new teaching approaches that reflect digitalisation trends.
We invite young researchers to submit abstracts (download instructions here). All abstracts in the field of public health will be considered, but scoring will take into account the conference topics of digitalisation and education in health sciences and broader digital public health. Submissions related to nursing and other allied health professionals are encouraged.
All accepted presenters should be prepared to submit an extended abstract by 24 April 2022, which will be published in the conference proceedings. Extended abstract instructions will be sent to you upon acceptance of your presentation.
ASPHER will assume the cost of conference fees for accepted abstracts, but will not cover costs of travel or stay if participants choose to come on site.
An award, funded by ASPHER will be presented to the researcher judged to have made the best presentation.
