The Institute of Public Health at United Arab Emirates University continues its TIPH webinar series with Prof. Dr. Luís Velez Lapão speaking on Digital Public Health: Some hints for a research agenda

Prof. Dr. Luís Velez Lapão, Habilitation, PhD, MSc, Professor of Global Health Information at Universidade Nova de Lisboa. Coordinator of the DISHC-Digital & Smart Health Laboratory. He is the President of the General Council of the Lisbon Nursing School, and a member of the Coordination of the WHO Collaborating Centre for Health Workforce Policy and Planning. Co-Coordinator of the CPLP Telemedicine Network. He is auditor of the European Commission for Healthcare Information Systems since 2005 and member of the WHO/ITU Group on AI for Health (AI4H). He is currently the Principal Investigator of three research projects on health information and digital health, one related with COVID-19. He is author of more than 150 papers.
