The first Annual International Symposium on Human Rights in Patient Care will be organised in Berlin, at the Europe Gateway Offices of Indiana University. The address is:

Located in the Kreuzberg neighborhood in Berlin, the IU Europe Gateway is housed within the Council on International Educational Exchange (CIEE) Global Institute. It comprises a 1,050 square foot office suite with access to seminar and conference spaces for up to 100 people within the CIEE Global Institute.

By subway (U-Bahn)

The nearest subway station is U Gneisenaustraße on the U7 line. The office is located directly opposite the subway station on the south side of Gneisenaustraße.

By bus

Bus lines 248 and 140 stop at the corner of Zossener Straße and Gneisenaustraße, providing a service to/from the Mitte district. From the stop walk 100m east along the south side of Gneisenaustraße to reach the office.

By air

The office is approximately 30 minutes by taxi from both Berlin Tegel and Berlin Schönefeld International Airports (fare approx. €30).

Alternatively, visitors arriving at Tegel Airport can take either the 109 Bus or X9 Bus from the airport to Jakob-Kaiser Platz and then transfer to the U7 subway (direction U Rudow) to Gneisenaustraße (fare €2.80).

From Schönefeld Airport take either the 171 Bus or X7 Bus from the airport to U Rudow, and then transfer to the U7 subway (direction S+U Spandau) to Gneisenaustraße (fare €2.80).
