Armine Abrahamyan is a Research Assistant at the Center for Health Services Research and Development (CHSR), American University of Armenia (AUA). She has joined the CHSR in March 2014 and has mainly been involved in TB care and Tobacco Control projects. Her research interest also focuses on pediatric palliative care. For several years she has worked at Pediatric Oncology and Chemotherapy Department at the National Oncology Center as a psychotherapist. During her MPH studies at AUA she devoted her Master’s thesis project to the exploration of pediatric palliative needs of adolescents living with cancer and their parents. Before earning her Master of Public Health degree (MPH) in 2015 she graduated from the Yerevan State University in 2010 with a Master in Clinical Psychology degree. Armine Abrahamyan has been practicing as a Clinical Psychologist since 2010.

Armine Abrahamyan was awarded the Prize for Best Poster in the ASPHER Young Researchers Forum, a pre-conference event at the 8th European Public Health Conference that took place in Milan, Italy, from October 14 to 17, 2015.
